APAC Medical Lead

The APAC Medical Lead will provide strategic medical leadership and scientific oversight across the Asia-Pacific region, supporting the organization’s medical affairs objectives, product strategies, and clinical initiatives. The role is responsible for building strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and regulatory stakeholders while ensuring the delivery of high-quality scientific engagement and medical education activities. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, Market Access, and Regional Leadership to support product lifecycle management, evidence generation, and patient-centered healthcare initiatives across multiple markets within the APAC region.
The successful candidate will lead medical strategy development, provide scientific and clinical expertise for internal and external stakeholders, review medical and promotional materials for scientific accuracy, and support regional launch readiness activities. Responsibilities may also include overseeing investigator-sponsored studies, medical advisory boards, real-world evidence initiatives, and regional medical training programs while ensuring compliance with local and international healthcare regulations and ethical standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare organizations. A medical, pharmacy, or life sciences background with prior regional medical affairs experience within APAC will be highly advantageous.
