Sehat General Hospital is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse (ENT & Emergency Services) to support both ENT-related patient care and emergency medical cases. This role involves providing high-quality nursing services, assisting ENT specialists, and supporting triage and critical care activities within the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients with ENT conditions, including pre- and post-operative management.

  • Assist ENT specialists during examinations, minor procedures, and interventions.

  • Support the Emergency Department team in triage, stabilisation, and ongoing monitoring of patients.

  • Administer medications, carry out nursing procedures, and document care accurately.

  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and after-care instructions.

  • Maintain strict infection control, patient safety, and quality care standards.

  • Mentor and support junior nurses as required.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with valid practising certificate.

  • 2–5 years of experience in ENT, Emergency, or Acute Care settings.

  • Experience in ENT procedures or airway-related cases is an advantage.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

  • Able to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
