Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. - Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
- Monitor growth, development, and health progress of infants and children.
- Educate and support parents/guardians regarding their child’s condition, treatment, and preventive health practices.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Provide emotional support to children and families, fostering a positive and reassuring environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (pediatricians, therapists, dietitians, etc.) to ensure holistic care.
- Participate in health promotion and community outreach initiatives focused on child wellness.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or equivalent); pediatric specialization or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in pediatrics or child health.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric care standards.
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families.
- Ability to respond effectively in high-stress or emergency situations.
- Working Conditions
- Based in Hospital – Pediatric Ward/Clinic.
- Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Work involves caring for children with acute, chronic, and sometimes life-threatening conditions.
